Culinice Catering is known for its creative approach and wide range of services. With a strong foundation in hospitality, the team provides both on-site catering and culinary concepts for businesses and individuals. With a keen eye for presentation and experience, Culinice translates every assignment into a unique experience – whether it’s an exclusive dinner, a company drinks party or a large-scale event. We spoke with Maaike about how she brings structure to this multifaceted operation.
Two worlds, one platform
At Culinice, it’s all about striking a balance between flexibility and control. “We do both events and restaurant service,” says Maaike. “That places high demands on your planning. Every project is different, but you want consistency in your administration.”
That is why Culinice sought a tool that could support multiple processes simultaneously. “We wanted to centralise everything: from requests to execution. This eliminates duplication of work and ensures that everyone is always up to date.”
One system, lots of convenience
Catermonkey quickly became an integral part of their operations. “We use it for quotes, schedules, internal overviews and more. The task lists and weekly schedules are particularly useful – both for the team and for ourselves.”
Because everything is digital, the margin for error has decreased. “Everyone works from the same information. That prevents misunderstandings and saves time.”
More applications, less manual work
The integration on the website is also proving effective. “Customers fill in a large part of their application themselves. As a result, most quotes are ready in just a few clicks. We check, personalise and send them – much more efficiently than before.”
This also leads to more applications. “The threshold has been lowered, people can share their ideas with us more quickly. And we see that reflected in the conversion rate.”
Wish for the future
If she could add one feature? “An AI assistant that thinks along with the customer during the application process – that would make it even more accessible.” But even without that addition, the added value is clear.
No doubt about it
Maaike has clear advice for fellow caterers who are still unsure: “Just do it. Every day you wait, you miss out on structure and convenience.”
