Marlies grew up surrounded by the aromas of homemade delicacies. “My two grandmothers were real baking enthusiasts. They inspired me to get started myself.” Although her studies and first job were in event management, she soon felt that her passion lay elsewhere. “I retrained and started Pinch Of Salt. That way, I could combine my love of baking with my experience in events.”
