How Foodtruck BurgerArt runs everything from one place
BurgerArt is a food truck, founded in 2016 by Eva and Yoren. They cook burgers on site on a classic grill, named after artists: the Francis Bacon, the Magritte. They work festivals, company parties and private parties, and cook for meat eaters, vegetarians, vegans and halal guests. We spoke to Eva about keeping track of the planning.
Everything in one place
The reason for starting with Catermonkey was clear: “We were looking for a platform to manage everything in one place.” For a mobile concept like BurgerArt, flexibility matters, but not at the cost of control and structure.
The choice for Catermonkey came after they were approached directly. “We got a call with the information. That got us thinking, and it turned out to be a good move.”
Planning without headaches
For BurgerArt, the biggest win is in the day-to-day work: “Planning and invoicing is easier.” Everything runs more clearly, so they can move faster. “We mainly use planning, invoicing, quotes and revenue, everything that's at the core of the business.”
Because everything's centralised, they save time and cut down on mistakes too. “Planning and invoicing is clearer now. That gives peace of mind.”
A rough edge? Gets sorted quickly
Although the system works well, there are a few rough edges too. “Invoicing didn't always run smoothly. Every now and then something would go wrong and I'd have to email about it. But... it always gets sorted quickly!”
Those short lines of communication and fast support make the difference. “You can tell they really think it through with you.”
Just give it a try
What would they say to someone who's unsure? “It's definitely worth testing whether this works for your business.” And that's exactly what it's about at BurgerArt: testing, learning, improving, and above all: keeping things running well.
