How Mood4Food keeps its calm at (big) events

At Mood4food

Mood4Food is a catering business from The Hague that does events, from company parties to large public events. The team handles more than 100 events a year, with 100 to 2000 guests. We spoke to Driesse about how their way of working developed.

Everything in one place: from chaos to control

Where the team used to work with a mix of loose lists, tools and software, there's now calm and overview. “We came from a situation where information was spread across all kinds of programs. Nothing was stored locally or centrally. Now everything is in one system, and that gives us a lot more calm and efficiency.”

Catermonkey acts as the central link in how Mood4Food runs. “It's all together: margins, range, portion sizes, prices, recipes. And the great part is, you can pull it all back out easily too.”

From proposal to invoice: one tight process

With more than a hundred events a year, efficiency is essential. “It's sometimes a real puzzle to keep everything under control: you start with a proposal, move on to planning, put together a running order, sort out staffing, and end with the invoice. Without structure, that gets messy fast.”

That's where the platform makes the difference. “It's fast and clear, and it saves us loads of time every single week. What we do now, we simply couldn't have managed without Catermonkey.”

More than software: a foundation for your business

What Driesse values most is how much it covers. “It's not just software for making quotes. It's a complete foundation for the business: your customer list, your range, your recipes, your ingredients, your cost structure. It's all in there.”

His advice to others? “On the fence? Just do it. It's the perfect foundation for any hospitality business that wants to work professionally.”
