Pinch of Salt spends less time on enquiries, more time on cake

Pinch Of Salt bakes cakes and treats for birthdays, weddings and other celebrations, with allergy-friendly, lactose-free, low-sugar and nut-free versions. Marlies came out of event management and started for herself. We spoke to her about how she keeps track of her requests.

From event manager to cake queen

“Both my grandmothers were real baking enthusiasts. They're what got me started.” Marlies studied event management and worked in it, then switched. “I retrained and started Pinch Of Salt. That way I could combine my love of baking with my experience in events.”

The search for the right platform
