Catermonkey, the Frisian pioneer in catering software, announces worldwide launch

In 2010, Marten Systema, CTO from Lemmer, the Netherlands, and Maty Van Geirt, CEO from Retie, Belgium, joined forces to create Catermonkey. Maty, working as a caterer at the time, was looking for ways to simplify catering, while Marten brought his expertise as a software developer. Since then, Catermonkey.com has steadily changed the catering software industry and grown into the undisputed market leader in the Benelux.

Catermonkey's Frisian head office in Lemmer marks the epicentre of this change. After just 6 months, the first 'Beach Office' in Lemmer was already too small to house Catermonkey.com's growing activities, a sign of the speed and impact of their success.

Catermonkey sets itself apart by cutting administrative work for caterers and function venues by as much as 70%, making the traditional use of Excel, Word and scattered systems unnecessary. The sales process has also been significantly simplified by connecting caterers' websites to their Catermonkey accounts, so customers can now partly put together their own quotes on the caterers' websites.

Catermonkey has changed the way catering businesses work, in Friesland and worldwide.
