Connect Exact Online to Catermonkey

What it does

You make your invoices in Catermonkey and book them in Exact Online. Without the connection that means every invoice twice. With the connection, an Exact button sits on every finished invoice. One click, and it's in your books.

What goes back and forth

• From Catermonkey to Exact: the invoice with customer details, the lines, the amounts and VAT split by rate.
• You link your ledger accounts to Exact's once, so every invoice lands on the right one.
• If you work with multiple locations or separate bookkeeping setups, you link each one to the matching company in Exact.
• Nothing comes back. The connection runs one way: Exact stays in charge of your books.

What it saves you

A caterer with two hundred invoices a year types each one twice right now. That costs time. It's also where a figure ends up wrong. Your bookkeeper sees the invoices the moment you send them, not at the end of the quarter.

Turning it on

Settings, then Integrations, then Exact Online. Log in with your Exact account to allow the connection, then link your ledger accounts. That's a one-off job, about a quarter of an hour. If the button disappears later, the permission in Exact has usually expired; logging in again sorts it out.
