One product, many choices
Let customers choose sizes, flavours and packaging without cluttering your catalogue
You sell a club sandwich. Your customer wants white or brown bread. You sell a quiche. They want small, medium or large. Variants let you offer those choices on one product card, no copying, no duplicate prices.
In short
- Offer choice options or checkboxes on a single product
- Set a price difference per option (a fixed surcharge or no extra cost)
- Mark which choices are required or optional
- Chosen options appear on the preparation list, so the kitchen knows what to make
- Keep your catalogue lean: one product, many configurations
The choice in the webshop
Every variant you add appears as a choice option in the webshop and on the order screen. You decide whether the choice is required or optional. For each option, you can set a price difference: €2 extra for the large size, no surcharge for brown bread.
The kitchen sees the choice
On the preparation list, the kitchen sees exactly which option the customer chose. No guesswork, no phone calls to clear it up.
One product instead of three
Variants keep your catalogue tidy. One "Club sandwich" with two bread options is clearer than two separate products. One "Quiche Lorraine" with three sizes is easier to manage than three listings with overlapping descriptions.
What your team does with it
Chef
You see the exact variant on the preparation list. If the order says "brown bread", you make it with brown bread.
Kitchen manager
The preparation list shows the chosen option next to each dish. No more guessing what "large" means: two portions or a bigger platter.
